Another industry first, GardaWorld awarded new ISO 18788

GardaWorld International Protective Services is pleased to announce that all of its operations around the world have been externally certified to ISO 18788:2015 Management system for private security operations - Requirements with Guidance the new standard for responsible security operations.

This Standard builds on the ANSI/ASIS PSC.1-2012 (Management System for Quality of Private Security Company Operations, the Montreux Document and the International Code of Conduct (ICoC) for Private Security Service Providers.

ISO 18788:2015 provides a framework for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving the management of security operations.

Certification to ISO 187881 further demonstrates our ability to consistently provide services that meet our client needs with security solutions that are in conformance with all applicable laws and human rights requirements.

GardaWorld continues to lead the way being not only the first, but the only PSC in the world to achieve global certification of all of its services to this new standard.

External auditors began their examination of our business in February this year evaluating our operations in Baghdad, Basra, Nigeria and our management functions in Dubai.

MSS Global, the only Certification Body currently able to deliver certification ISO 18788:2015 remarked positively on our approach to achieving ISO 18788:2015 and the overall high quality of GardaWorld's systems to ensure the most effective security services in these most complex of environments.
